Gary Webb was the investigative reporter that exposed the connections between the Iran Contra Scandal, the Real Rick Ross, and the Crack Epidemic of the early 90's. His series "Dark Alliance" detailed the connections. Media attention for the story got overshadowed by the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Gary was found with 2 gunshot wounds to the head. His death was ruled a suicide.
